• FURTHER to John Gulliver’s piece on why Camden Council Prevent officers attended a meeting about Palestine, (‘Spooks’ mystery revisited, January 10).

We sent a formal petition, in accordance with the council’s constitution, asking for this information to be released. So far (it was sent on January 7) there has been no acknowledgement.

Incidentally all reference to the council’s petition scheme has been taken off the council website at some point during the last month. We will attend the council meeting this coming Monday, January 21, where we will submit the petition by hand.

We are asking for people to join us there for a protest outside: 6.30pm, Crowndale Centre, 218 Eversholt Street, NW1 1BD. We also have a change.org petition
