FORGET the World Cup, the biggest football competition of the summer has already taken place as 20 primary schools from across Camden battled it out to be crowned the best in the borough.
Scores of talented young soccer stars took part in the Camden Schools Sports Association’s Years 3 and 4 Football Championships, which were held at Parliament Hill Fields.
After two days of gripping action the boys from Primrose Hill Primary School and the girls from Gospel Oak were the ones cheering the loudest as they outscored their rivals to become champions – and show England just how to win a major tournament ahead of Saturday’s World Cup opener against Italy!
