Price of being in the movies

• HAVING a shop in Primrose Hill I have been at the mercy of filming in the area for over 20 years.
The street can be partially closed, all parking can be taken away, restrictions to traffic without any compensation to businesses who lose customers during this time. Even when filming in side streets our road is taken over by residents who cannot park outside their homes (who have some compensation).
In an age where retailers have increased rates and overheads we are not offered any compensation for loss of trade.
I have worked in the film business myself and know that the “ordinary person or business” is completely overlooked; we are not important; but we offer a service to the community and we employ people.
Are we less important than “Hollywood stars?”
