POLICE have issued a warning after photos emerged at the weekend of teenagers sitting on top of the railway bridge in Primrose Hill.
The images were taken on Saturday night after people were cleared from the park at 10pm.
The night closure is part of an ongoing trial to try and stop overnight parties and antisocial behaviour on the hill.
Police reported on social media that they had cleared more than 500 people on Friday night.
Inspector Paul Clarke, who heads up the Camden Town and Primrose Hill neighbourhood policing team said: “We remind the public to be careful around railways, as well as the obvious hazards of the trains on the tracks, people must also be aware of the danger posed by the overhead cables, which individuals do not always have to come into direct contact with to suffer serious injury or death.
He added: “Our colleagues at British Transport Police work hard to ensure our railways remain safe, but there is nothing so terrible as an officer having to inform someone of the death of a loved one, so please do not put yourself in danger by taking unnecessary risks”
