Detectives are investigating after two teenagers were stabbed on Hampstead Heath during a brawl on the hottest day of the year.

Officers, the London Air Ambulance and paramedics went to the scene on the Heath after being called at 7:39pm on Friday after reports of a group of people fighting near the running track.

Two teenage boys, aged 17 and 18 were found with stab wounds and taken to hospital. Their conditions were not thought to be life threatening.

A crime scene was in place until Saturday, no arrests had been made according to Scotland Yard.
