A PLANNING inspector has approved the demolition of a bungalow mansion commissioned by Harold Cooper, the founder of the Lee Cooper jeans range. The building in Frognal Way, Hampstead, fell derelict amid planning disputes after Mr Cooper and his wife died. Admirers of the property called for a restoration but new owner Jez San now has permission to build a replacement home.
