Planning for the future

• A 90 PER CENT “yes” vote was the resounding result in last Thursday’s referendum to adopt the Camley Street Neighbourhood Plan – which now becomes part of the planning regulations for the Camley Street area and includes six planning policies that all future Camley Street developments will have to comply with: local community and social needs, housing, employment, sustainable transport, green infrastructure, and design quality.

This is a great result that residents, businesses, our local councillors, and many others have worked hard to bring to fruition over several years.

We are very proud of what we have achieved and are now turning our minds to our next objective: To create a non-profit community land trust for Camley Street that will, working with Camden Council and their project delivery team, build a new Camley Street that will be a great place to live and work.
