ANTHONY Clarke is confident his Phoenix side will rise to the challenge on Sunday when they face Apoel in the quarter finals of the London Challenge Cup.

Describing the tie as “the biggest game of our season”, Clarke admits his team, made up of top players from across Camden and Islington, will be the underdogs when they go up against the cup holders at Hackney Marshes.

“They knocked us out at exactly the same stage last season so the boys have a point to prove,” he said. “We know it won’t be easy, but I couldn’t have asked for a better squad for the biggest game of our season.”

Apoel danger man is Andre McCollin who plays for Ryman Premier League leaders Kingstonian.
