Free map summarising the proposed bus changes

• IN response to Valerie Dunn (The bus route changes are unnecessary, June 30) about the paper bus maps needed to help people understand the impact of the proposed Central London Bus Review, the following link has a free central zone summary map summarising the proposed changes in traditional “bus map” format: https://www.busmap.co.uk/free-downloads/GLBM%20-%20Central%20London%20Consultation%20Bus%20Map.pdf

The person who has produced the map also produces an equivalent of the bus map that Transport for London used to produce. Available for £2 post free, from https://www.busmap.co.uk/purchase (pay online) or send cheque made to Mike Harris to 27 Albany Road, Wickford SS12 9BP with your details, requesting London Bus Map issue 39 (latest available); pdf digital download available for £1 (follow the links on the page to the online shop). Part of the sale price is donated to the British Heart Foundation.

Note: I am not affiliated to Mike Harris, but wanted to point out the availability of a useful map.

And further, a reminder of the parliamentary petition to protest against the cuts; please sign if you want to protest in a way that matters more than the Transport for London consultation. https://petition.parliament.uk/petitions/618195

At the moment only a small number of people have cared enough about their buses to sign. It needs 10,000 to get any acknowledgement, 100,000 signatures to trigger a debate in parliament
