Perhaps the Post Office could tell us why these branches are closed

• WHAT has happened to our local post office system?

In or near our ward three branches are currently closed. They include Hampstead Road, Crowndale Road and Robert Street.

The branches are located within grocery shops where people can buy some essential items without much queueing and without travelling far from their homes.

As a result of the closures, people wanting to pay their council rent and bills are having to queue at the Camden High Street branch for more than an hour.

Waiting for such a long time simply doesn’t work for our elderly and disabled residents who pay their bills weekly.

Perhaps the Post Office can provide an explanation for these mystery closures.
