THERE was no change at the top of the Division One table in the Chalk Farm Pool League as early leaders Sir Robert Peel eased to an 8-1 win over Reilly’s Chargers on Monday night.

The Boston Arms and the King’s Cross Hurricanes, who are second and third respectively, both won but are struggling to catch the Peel, who are now an impressive eight points clear at the top.

It was all change in Division Two after the Gunners pub in Islington dropped out of the league. The points shake-up means after this week’s results Cock Tavern Kilburn are top on 66 points, two ahead of the Green Man. Cock Tavern Aloysius are third on 62 points.

It was a tense night at the Dick Collins Hall in Regent’s Park as the RPTA ‘A’ team beat their ‘B’ team counterparts 5-4 in a closely fought contest.
