THE sound of beating drums could be heard echoing down the street on Saturday as Lord Eric Sugumugu shared his love of music with children at the Caraf Centre in Queen’s Crescent.

Along with his drumming masterclass, there was a bouncy castle, cake decorating, face-painting, food and games at the free family fun day, which was held to help promote the nursery, supplementary school and education advocacy services at the centre. One-year-old Nikita Ghorani, pictured, was among the youngsters who joined the musician on the drums.
