WORKS have begun on a central path in Primrose Hill that has been fenced off to the public for months, writes Daisy Clague.

The diggers arrived in the park last week to start re-tarmacking a stretch of path that leads up the centre of the hill, and the repairs are expected to be completed by this weekend.

Some of the old Victorian street lights that line the park paths have also been refitted with solar panels.
