• A NEW restaurant, Bam Panda in Chalk Farm Road, is advertising for staff, with the proviso that applicants (prospective Pandas) are to answer the question: What happens when a panda is crossed with Van Gogh?

Although I am an octogenarian pensioner, and therefore a little too ancient to apply, it occurs to me that one answer could be, perhaps: Black and white sunflowers.
