A GROUP of children from special schools Camden were celebrating after reaching the final of the prestigious Panathlon Challenge for the first time in four years’ of trying.
The Camden team, which consisted of pupils from Swiss Cottage and Jack Taylor schools, competed in a series of events including table cricket, athletics and football.
They will now take their place in the final, which is to be held at Westway Sports Centre in Hammersmith in June.
Camden manager Anthony Doherty said: “This is fantastic. We have tried for four years to get to the final and finally we have done it.”
