‘There is nothing to fear in getting this vaccine’

• I JUST wanted to voice my overwhelming admiration for the way the NHS in Camden is running the Covid-19 vaccination process.

I received notification that I was eligible for a vaccine on January 30 at 10.09am, asking that I go online and book an appointment. I did so and got an appointment for 11.10, an hour or so later.

I showed up for the appointment and was amazed at how calm and efficient the process was. By 11.30am I had filled out the required questionnaire, received the shot, waited for the 15 minute observation period and was on my way home.

From start to finish the process was extremely slick; everybody knew what they were doing so the queueing process was completely unhurried and the staff, as to be expected, were the model of politeness and competence.

I am now looking at the light at the end of the tunnel when this pandemic will be a thing of the past. I am so grateful to the NHS for their professionalism and dedication. There is nothing to fear in getting this vaccine.
