Recycling bins in South End Road

• YOUR piece on the council elections from the Conservative Party conference was headed ‘Tories: Polls will be about bins… not Brexit’ (October 5).

As the partner of someone living in South End Road and paying council tax I enclose a picture (above) of the recycling bins there on Friday before the Sunday collection – by which time it was way worse.

I have no faith the Tories would be better but is this acceptable? Every bin was stuffed to the gills and overflowing. Surely the collection times have to be increased.
