Our tower block badly needs fire stops between flats
Thursday, 4th January 2018
• AGAIN the failure to fit fire stops between flats allows a heavy stench of cannabis fumes to be drawn into our flat at Bacton Tower block in NW5.
We have to open doors regardless of weather and this draws the fumes through the flat faster. It burns our nostrils such is the intensity.
When is the Camden Council going to prevent this? It makes this flat not only a fire hazard but detrimental to health and questions if such a flat is fit for purpose.
Unless these fire stops are progressed then we shall need to seek legal advice on the matter. It is no way to live with this continual failure to protect our health with various fumes, whether from burned fat, cannabis smoke, cigarette fumes or cooking odours. It is outrageous and a disgrace!
