• I AM saddened to see my 94-year-old neighbour Eric Levy still stuck in University College Hospital, this since May 4.

And it has been so difficult to visit because for the past five weeks UCLH is only allowing him one visitor a day for one hour a day. I could not even go in with my husband because of this rule.

We need to make an appointment from week to week, and it is extremely difficult to get one too.

To be restricted to a hospital bed for so long, and no exercise, and only one visitor a day for an hour, is detrimental to anyone’s health.

He enjoyed my and my husband’s visits when we did finally manage to see him, getting separate appointments a month ago.

He was surprised we were not together and he expressed to me that he was not happy that he was in hospital, and he asked me to get him out.
