• AN online discussion on the O2 development in West Hampstead on Tuesday night seemed like a good idea. But the technical shambles made the whole thing a joke.

To test my ability to receive, I went to YouTube to play Led Zeppelin’s Bron-Y-Aur Stomp (live at Earl’s Court 1975) and was rewarded with Jimmy Page and Robert Plant’s virtuosity. This proves the problem was not at my end.

Right now, I am struggling to see what Camden can do right. I would not trust their ranks of thousands to find anyone capable of stirring a cup of tea without spilling it into the saucer.

What is for sure is that the consultation exercise was ridiculous and needs to be repeated in public, if they dare, and under conditions of Covid security. Maybe they’re scared of us.
