THE hotshots in blue have found the back of the net a staggering 35 times in their opening four league games.

But now One Strike FC have surely scored the goal they really wanted – hitting our headlines!

The club’s Under-12s side are currently three points clear at the top of the ‘A’ division table having taken the Camden and Regent’s Park Youth League by storm this season.

They scored 32 goals in their opening three games alone – and showed their title credentials yet again on Saturday when they tackled their toughest test yet.

One Strike came up against a well-organised, energetic West End FC side, who went into the game in confident mood having won three games out of three.

And the blue-and-yellows looked dangerous throughout, with Jamie Isaacs, Burt Thorne and Bruno Landsdowne all going close to scoring.

In the end, however, Mert Apat proved the difference between the two sides as his hat-trick earned One Strike a hard fought 3-0 win.

West End FC still had plenty to celebrate with their Under-12s beating Primrose in the 9-v-9 league. Despite playing up a year, West End were full of confidence as they ran out 3-0 winners thanks to Nico Berczeller’s brace and a goal from Armari Richards.

Camden Elite were also back among the goals. Hotshot Dion Sfarca scored a hat-trick, while Telmo Valerio and Rafiq Salah both bagged a brace against Islington Angel on Friday. Idris Isse was also on target in a resounding 8-0 victory.

Camden Elite’s Under-14s were also victorious thanks to debutant Liam Campbell. The super-sub came off the bench to score a stunning volley and earn his team a 1-0 win over Westway on Monday at Market Road.
