• FURTHER to “Hermit” Harry Hallowes’ home for sale (Harry The Hermit’s land next to Hampstead Heath put up for sale, May 17), as no building is allowed on his blesses plot, left to charity, here is a suggestion:

The affayres of Harry Hallowes,
Whose Tide was Flood, not Shallowes,
He found salvation
In his creation,
May his flowered shrine lay Fallowes.
