SPURS legend Ledley King has issued a rallying cry before the White Hart Lane showdown with Manchester United on Sunday, telling fans that the title dream isn’t over and for them to “keep the faith”.

The former captain and one-club legend said that while last weekend’s 1-1 draw at Liverpool left Spurs with a seven-point gap to close on the , Leicester, fans should still dream.

He said: “Leicester have to play Sunderland who are fighting for their lives and will be a difficult game. I’m hoping they will help Tottenham out. It is about who can handle the pressure from now until the end of the season. That is who will pick up the title.”

King also praised the squad for their extraordinary efforts this season that have seen Tottenham transform into genuine title contenders. He said: “You can see it is a team that is enjoying playing together. It is a young group of players who enjoy being around each other and that goes a long way on the pitch.

“They seem to enjoy playing without fear or pressure, which is great to see, especially at this stage of the season. They are trying to win the league, but are still playing without fear.”

Meanwhile Spurs are set to confirm three key players have signed extended deals.

Jan Vertonghen, Erik Lamela and Christian Eriksen are all poised to put pen to paper on bigger, long-term, contracts.
