Now it’s back to traffic pollution…

Friday, 29th May 2020

• HAVE you noticed how the centre of Camden has been taken over by bright blue rectangles, with a fence on top, to widen the pavements so that pedestrians can socially distance themselves by a huge amount of space?

In particular, the bottom of Parkway been obstructed on the right hand side just before the lights so there is only one lane for traffic.

The preceding set of traffic light have at least 30 seconds on “Go” but, of course, the traffic bunches up at the single file at the next set of lights. Who thought of this madness?

The Department for Transport, or Camden Council? And, more importantly, who is paying for it?

The result is that Parkway is now jammed up back to the park with buses, lorries and cars, all polluting the air. A return to the past which brings us back to a stinking future!
