• LANDSEC wants Camden to agree as soon as possible to their revised plans to decrease social housing at the O2.

But our new government is committed to promoting affordable housing in various ways, (including more social housing) and legislation is on the way.

So please can we scrutinise Camden Council’s response to Landsec’s new application very closely?

The O2 Centre development already breaches some of Camden’s own guidelines, and nobody has explained how local streets and public transport will cope.

The last thing we need now is the council stumbling into helping Landsec to pre-empt socially beneficial legislation at the expense of the people of Camden.
