LEAGUE leaders North Middlesex suffered a 17-run defeat against Harrow on Saturday – despite only being set a score of 148 for victory.
It looked like it was going to be a comfortable away-day for North Midd after Jaron Semper (4-51) and Tom Nicoll (4-46) combined to dismiss the hosts for 147 in the 53rd over.
Harrow had other ideas, however, as Nathan Cameron upset the form guide with a devastating bowling display that saw him take six wickets at the expense of 69 runs.
Sam Webber was the only North Midd player to show any resistance with a score of 47 as the visitors were bowled out for 130 in the 46th over.
