• A NOTE to thank you for publishing my letter about my aunt and uncle (Did anyone know Len? June 1).

I asked for any information about Len Curry (who died in 1970) and Sally Curry (who died in 1989). They lived at Rydal Water on the Regent’s Park Estate.

I have now had a response and I’m now following it up. Local newspapers do have a positive role to play. My best wishes to all at your newspaper.
