THERE was double delight for the girls from Acland Burghley after they netted yet more glory in the Camden School Sports Federation Football Championships.

Having already lifted the Year 8 trophy, another triumphant team from the secondary school in Tufnell Park joined the celebrations at the Cantelowes Sports Pitch just off Camden Road by capturing the Year 9s title. 

Organised and run by Camden Sports Development, it was a closely-fought contest with Acland Burghley finishing just one point ahead of Parliament Hill.

They were deserving champions having won six and lost just one of their eight games, scoring 18 goals and conceding just four along the way.
