THE future of the Camden and Regent’s Park Youth League is certainly looking bright after the number of teams taking part in the youngest development age group “more than doubled” this season.

The Rockets, Hampstead, London Eagles, Just Play and Daryl’s Dragons are all among the new clubs boasting sides in the five-a-side Under-6s and Under-7s division.

Organiser Ash Rahman said: “We’re delighted that the joint age group has continued to get stronger and stronger. It’s more than doubled in size with managers and players enjoying a format that isn’t about results and league tables.”
