NORH Yard, the cluster of restaurants and pubs based in the historic Grade II-listed stables off Camden High Street, is marking October with a series of new menus and collaborations from local chefs and food creators.
Just a short walk from Chalk Farm station, it has become a regular meeting place for residents and visitors alike, offering outdoor seating and a mix of independent eateries.
This month, The Dark Horse, one of the Yard’s longest-standing venues, is teaming up with chef Rahel Stephanie, known for her supper club Eat with Sp00ns, to serve a limited-edition menu featuring sticky sambal wings. The pub, known for its live music and Sunday roasts, also runs a rooftop terrace where visitors can order small plates, pizza and cocktails.

At Pick & Cheese, the British cheese restaurant that operates a conveyor-belt service, Claire Dinhut — known online as Condiment Claire — has created several specials, including a candied jalapeño doughnut with whipped goat’s cheese.
Other venues at North Yard continue to offer a wide range of options. Humble Crumble serves its signature desserts with seasonal flavours such as sticky toffee for Halloween, while Ester focuses on cocktails, natural wines and small-batch beer from 3 Locks Brewery, currently the only beer produced in Camden Town.

Hans & Gretel provides gelato and sweets inspired by traditional European confectionery, and Meat the Vegans offers plant-based versions of popular dishes including burritos, jerk chicken and fish and chips. Pescobar specialises in seafood, with dishes such as octopus kebabs and fried squid drawing inspiration from Mediterranean cooking.
North Yard’s next phase of development will see the opening of the Stables Warehouse, which is set to bring additional food and drink options to the site later this year.
