THE newly-formed Camden District football team will be looking to follow in the footsteps of their predecessors when they kick off their campaign in the Lester Finch Trophy next month. 

The borough’s Year 6 boys won the prestigious competition last season, and now it’s down to the new recruits to defend the title – starting off with a testing home tie against rivals Haringey at Regent’s Park. 

Among the names to look out for this time around is captain Tommaso Ison and midfielder Jeremy Bungisa, who both scored twice in Camden’s first competitive game – an 8-0 victory over Westminster in the Kay Trophy.
