COACHES from top running club Highgate Harriers are going to have to find some more space in the trophy cabinet after their junior athletes scooped yet more silverware on Saturday.

Having already won a host of accolades during the cross-country season, the talented racers were back on top of the podium after snapping up four club trophies and two individual gold medals in the final NWL Young Athletes League meet at Wormwood Scrubs.

Cecily Turner was among the standout individuals as she was crowned girls’ Under-11s champion following three race victories and a second-place finish.

Club-mate Hannah Viner boasted an even better record as she won all four of her races to take the Under-17s title.

The Harriers can certainly look forward to a bright future with juniors Finlay Doyle, Conleth Gallagher, Nat Butcher, Emma Williets, Anna Willis and Marjolaine Briscoe all winning individual placing medals.

The club were also crowned team champions in both the boys’ and girls’ Under-11s age groups and the girls’ Under-13s category, while also taking the overall girls’ team title.
