Supporters celebrate unveiling of Boris Nemtsov Place

• I KNOW little of the late Boris Nemtsov, but it may be right and proper to have named Boris Nemtsov Place after him as a Russian dissident who in the immortal Quaker formulation “spoke truth to power”, (Highgate roundabout officially becomes ‘Boris Nemtsov Place’, November 17).

But the value of such honours depends significantly on the impartiality of their bestowal. I would take Boris Nemtsov Place more seriously if it had been accompanied by, say, Julian Assange Road.
