CHAMPIONS Sir Robert Peel (inset right) will represent the Chalk Farm Pool League in the qualifiers for the National ‘Champion of Champions’ final in November after completing their season with a tidy 6-3 win over Reilly’s Chargers on Monday night.

King’s Cross Hurricanes, who were the only side to beat Peel all season, finished the league as runners-up.

The champions will get the chance to avenge their loss when the two sides face each other on July 22 in the Liam Tarrant Cup at the Boston Arms.

Meanwhile pool aces from the Green Man in Essex Road (pictured left) and Bank of Friendship in Blackstock Road have been promoted to Division One after finishing first and second respectively in their debut seasons.
