The Tory MP for Croydon fairly declares the attackers “scum”.

On March 30, without warning, Stojan Jankovic, who has worked here for 15 years, was arrested, taken to a detention centre and threatened with deportation. I feel as shamed by that as I am by what the “scum” in Croydon did.

But what good will my shame or my protest do? How are such shameful decisions taken? Who decides on them?

If we knew that we could name and shame our representatives who commit these offences against decent behaviour.
