Namaaste Kitchen head chef wins notable recognition for services to the industry

London, April 2018: Sabir Karim, the award-winning Indian chef and owner of London restaurants Salaam Namaste and Namaaste Kitchen, has been selected as one of the top 100 influential British Bangladeshi business people in the UK, according to the British Bangladeshi Power & Inspiration (BBPI). The announcement was made during a glittering ceremony at HMS President in St Katherine’s Docks in London held on 28th March 2018.
The annual list is a celebration of 100 leading British Bangladeshi figures who are helping shape Britain for the better with their ideas, example, talent and success.
The Power list was founded in 2012 by Abdal Ullah and his wife Ayesha Qureishi MBE.
Sabbir commented: “I am extremely humbled and grateful to The British Bangladeshi Power & Inspiration Team (BBPI) for such an important recognition and for the inclusion of myself amongst so many notable figures in the British Bangladeshi community for the work I love doing within the Hospitality sector.”
