Thanks to a noble bus driver

• I WAS on my way to the bus stop going to a friend’s funeral at St Dominic’s Priory, Gospel Oak, when a C11 bus swung round into Brookfield Park, Dartmouth Park.

I waved at him and he stopped and let me on. Whether it was my white hair, black funeral clothes, or my look of desperation, I don’t know.

I am very grateful to him and I made it on time. Many thanks bus driver.
