• HAD a hospital appointment in Portland Place last Friday. I usually get the 24 bus to Camden and pick up the 88 there. The 24 was on strike, so I walked to Kentish Town for the bus.

I was running late now, then I saw the 88 just leaving the bus stop. I ran towards it waving my arms around, hoping he would wait. He did, so I want to thank the kind driver for stopping. I made my appointment in time.
