Murder investigation opens after 21-year-old man is stabbed on Primrose Hill

Roads are closed in Primrose Hill this evening
DETECTIVES have confirmed they have launched a murder investigation after a man was fatally stabbed in Primrose Hill this evening (Tuesday).
Police were called to reports of a fight at the summit in the park as people gathered to watch the sunset.
Officers attended alongside paramedics, who treated a 21-year-old man at the scene for stab wounds. He was later pronounced dead at the scene.

Another man, believed to be in his 20s, was found by police nearby on Regent’s Park Road, also with stab wounds. He was taken to hospital by paramedics and his injuries are not believed to be life-threatening or life-changing.

No arrests have been made and the park and roads have been taped off.
Superintendent Matt Cox said: “This is an utterly tragic incident and our thoughts remain with the man’s family and loved ones.
“I would like to reassure the local community that the investigation is unfolding at pace and an increased police presence will remain in the area while we carry out enquiries.
“I would appeal for anyone who was in the area at the time and has any information that could help my officers to come forward.”
