• HOW lucky am I was my response when the wonderful professional ladies at Gospel Oak Health Centre told me I was to receive a four-wheel walking aid.

With speed and efficiency it arrived two days later and the friendly delivery driver lingered at my address to explain to me the workings and advantages of the walker.

He was so helpful and good-natured that we chatted about London neighbourhoods and he told me of living in Tottenham with his family – a son and daughter – and that his dad had recently moved to Ipswich.

Intrigued by the delivery note on my walker, he explained he had to set eyes on the person accepting the walker – me. Then he showed me his driving licence with his name… Mr St George. What a coincidence.
