Most people do nothing about litter – it’s time for a spring clean
Thursday, 13th April 2017
• THE government is to be congratulated on its National Litter Strategy published on Monday April 10.
Whitehall and Town Hall play their part but most people do nothing to tackle the litter problem.
Londoners must no longer walk on by when they see someone improperly disposing of litter – challenge litter louts if it’s safe to do so.
Council officials and police officers must do more too. Concerned residents should write to local councillors if a property is an eyesore because of litter and rubbish.
Time for a local spring clean! Adopt your street or estate, buy a litter picker, and go on litter patrol. Let’s help Camden Council try to keep our streets clean!
