POLICE who issued a missing persons alert for Flowered Up drummer John Tuvey said he has been found safe and well.

Officers in Camden Town and King’s Cross had said the musician, now working as a taxi driver, had been missing for more than a week and appealed for the public’s help in finding him. They said this week that they have since made contact with Mr Tuvey, who had a major hit with the 1992 track Weekender.
