THE Year 7 Islington and Camden District football team put a string of disappointing results firmly behind them when they went goal crazy against Barnet in the Watkin Cup.
The Under-12s side started brightly and there was little surprise when Kristian Mikeli opened the scoring.
On 20 minutes great work down the right by Devin Mills and Shae Hutchinson forced a save by the Barnet keeper.
The resulting corner was delivered with pace by man-of-the-match Franklyn Domi, and Solomon Arouna rose to head home.
Barnet pulled a goal back but Hutchinson restored his team’s two-goal cushion with a composed finish.
Having broken the deadlock early on, Mikeli stole the show, the headlines – and the match ball with two late goals to complete his hat-trick and seal a 5-2 win.
