ARSENAL Ladies have won the FA Women's Cup for the 13th time in the club’s history on Sunday after a deserved 2-0 victory against Everton at Stadium MK.
A magnificent free-kick from Kelly Smith gave the Gunners the lead after 15 minutes, before Yukari Kinga slid home a second just after the hour mark to ensure Shelley Kerr ended her 16-month reign as manager in glory.
The win also means the club has completed an FA Cup double for the second time in its history, following the men’s win over Hull City at Wembley.
