A MAN is in a critical condition in hospital after a hit-and-run in Camden Town.

Emergency services were called to the scene at about 10pm last night after a car crashed with a pedestrian opposite the Camden Town Underground station.

The Met Police said the man was taken to hospital where he is in a “life-threatening condition”.

A spokesman said: “The driver of the car involved failed to stop at the scene, urgent enquiries are underway to locate them.”
