Man fighting for his life in hospital after fight in Chalk Farm Road
Victim was found unconscious just after 3am following reports of an "altercation"

A young man is fighting for his life in hospital after receiving a head injury in a suspected street fight in Chalk Farm in the early hours of Monday.
Police were called to Belmont Street, off Chalk Farm Road, to “reports of an altercation” and found a victim in his 20s who was unconscious.
He was taken to hospital where he remains in a critical condition.
Detectives are investigating.
There has been no arrests.
Scotland Yard said in a statement: “Police were called at 03:08hrs on Monday, 21 May to reports of an altercation in Belmont Street, NW1.
Officers and the London Ambulance Service attended and found a man, aged in his 20s, unconscious and suffering from a head injury.
“He was taken to an east London hospital where he remains in a critical condition.”
