Police have circulated this photograph of three men they want to speak to

A MAN who tried to intervene when a group of men behaved inappropriately to women was attacked at a bar in Chalk Farm.

Police this week have released a photograph of three men they would like to speak to to help them with their enquiries.

The Met said a group of men approached the 23-year-old victim and his friends on January 5 at about 2am

“They are then reported to have behaved inappropriately toward some of the victim’s female friends,” the Met said.

When the victim intervened he was attacked and left with a deep cut to his nose. The men then left.

“Officers are keen to speak to the three men in the image as it is thought they may be able to help officers with their enquiries,” the statement added.

Police did not say which bar the incident took place in, or why the photo appeared clearer than most appeal photos.

Anyone who recognises the men in the photo are ask to call police on 101 quoting CAD 774/05Jan or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
