ISLEDON Wolves were among the youth clubs who enjoyed a string of successful results this week at Market Road.
The Under-8s side were the hungriest of all for goals as they hit double figures at the newly refurbished pitches. Lyes Djellali led the charge as he scored seven, while strike partner Faris Boukli hit a hat-trick. Henley Wheeler, Louie Hartley and Frankie Phillips all grabbed two goals each, with an own-goal and a final strike from Tristan Baker wrapping up an 18-0 victory against Highbury Wolves.
Isledon’s Under-14s side were also celebrating following back-to-back wins.
Two goals from Alfie Lusardi and a neat finish from Mo Asam saw the free-scoring side net a 3-0 win over West End FC.
Asam has been in sensational form in front of goal, scoring a hat-trick in Isledon’s previous game against St John’s Wood. Teon Levy-Wright also found the back of the net in a 4-0 victory.
In the Under-12s age group, The Heath battled out a thrilling 4-4 draw against Islington Angel.
James Taylor was on song for The Heath as he scored twice, while team-mates Jean Michel Kabongo and Cameron Hannah also added their names on the score-sheet.
