West End FC (pictured) are determined to make 2013 their year as they continue to tackle “one of the toughest divisions” in the Camden & Regent’s Park Youth League.

In their last outing, the Under-12s side came back from 2-0 down to draw 2-2 with Camden Strikers thanks to a deadly double from Tony Crawford, one a well-placed free-kick.

The match ended up as a friendly because Camden Strikers had to field older players as they were short on numbers, handing West End all three points by default – and their first win of the season.

West End manager Lee Chapman said: “The Under-12s ‘A’ Division is the toughest in the league. Now with the first win under our belt I’m confident we’ll kick on and get the results our football deserves.”
