THERE was plenty of Premier League potential on show during the half-term holidays when a tiny team of top talent from Pro Touch Soccer Academy took on the young guns of Arsenal.
An 18-strong squad of five to seven-years olds travelled to the Gunners’ Hale End training facilities in Walthamstow to take part in a series of fun friendlies as Pro Touch celebrated their ninth anniversary by playing Arsenal for the first time.
Assistant academy director Zahid Hossain said, “It was a fantastic experience and a great way to celebrate nine successful years.
“A number of our players have gone on to sign for Arsenal over the years so we’ve always had a good relationship with the club.
“To actually be invited to play against them will only serve to make that bond even stronger.”
Pro Touch are launching their new EGA Little Ballers coaching sessions this Friday for boys and girls aged four to 11-years-old.
